Emily concentrates her practice on environmental, health and safety, and land use matters.

In the environmental realm, Emily guides clients through regulatory compliance, site remediation, risk assessment and management, transfers of contaminated properties, enforcement actions, and cost recovery actions. Emily also advises clients on their workplace health and safety obligations and options, including in response to investigations and enforcement actions by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.

A significant portion of Emily's practice is in land use permitting and litigation. Emily advises clients on zoning and planning compliance and strategy for their development projects. She has represented clients seeking approvals from municipal boards and councils and has experience handling contested land use matters before various municipal boards and courts.
